Even though the Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) used in conventional vehicles is one of major causes global warming and air pollution, emission toxic gases also harmful to living organisms. Electric propulsion has been developed modern electric replace ICE.The aim this research use both Simulink Simscape toolboxes MATLAB model dynamics a light commercial vehicle powered by propulsion. This focuses on Volkswagen Crafter with diesel engine manufactured 2020. A rear-wheel driven powertrain based Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor was designed its front-wheel an urban environment at low average speeds.In research, Nissan Leaf battery nominal voltage 360 V capacity 24 kWh modelled serve as energy source drivetrain.
